Porta Verde (Green Door) lies near Ciudad Vieja, Sacatapequez in Antigua, Guatemala. The farm’s name derives from its unique position in the Panchoy Valley, home to the richest soil, plentiful water, and the ideal environment to grow high quality coffee. The farm truly is a ‘green door’ that has been owned and meticulously operated by the Zelaya family since 1999. The family motto for the farm is ‘The Green Gate to the best coffee in Antigua.’

Diego Parra Beltrán runs Finca El Mirador alongside his siblings, a team of fourth-generation coffee producers passionate about the world of specialty coffee. The siblings have worked in many areas of the industry. Around 2023, together with two friends, they founded Finca El Mirador, where they currently produce and process their own coffee. Each of the siblings plays a fundamental role within the company.
Pink Bourbon is cultivated from hybridization of Red and Yellow Bourbon. Pink and Orange Bourbons are very difficult to produce with consistency. The recessive genes leading to the expression of these colors are easily thwarted by the presence of yellow and red genes in a given pollen grain. A carefully isolated and contained lot can do quite well and preserve the unique color and character of this variety, though this is quite hard to find.
We are excited to bring you this wonderful coffee from Finca El Mirador. In it we taste blackberry, dried citrus, and floral notes with some spice.

Halo Beriti Washing Station serves 750 smallholder producers, who deliver their coffee to the station in cherry form. This particular lot is part of a "special preparation" in which hand-sorting was done repeatedly throughout the receiving and drying process to ensure that only perfect coffees made it into the bags. This coffee is fresh, clean and bright. We taste golden raisin, fresh apricot and peach flavors.
